   Dark Curtain

Welcomes you

A century of lies have brought upon this dark day, only a few knew it was coming, and those few are marked for death. A century old conspiracy is about to be unveiled on a hot august summer day, in the windy city of Chicago. The stage has been set, all the evidence is there, but time may be running out.

A dark horde of men in black trench coats lurk in the shadows. A hideously deformed man has evil plans, a schizophrenic security guard with constant visions of the horror he witnessed as a child may hold the key, and a tragic bombing of thousands has thrown the nation into a tail spin. Have the myths all been true? Do they exist? Why have they been kept secret all these years?

One man must face his deepest fears and journey deep into his dark forgotten past. Betrayal and deceit surround him at every corner. All that he held true has been a lie. And death will become his only welcome friend. Now he must face his ultimate challenge before it is to late, but first he must realize the fate of humanity rests in his own blood soaked hands

http://www.neilforscutt.com

This site has been developed to help gather support for my work, and have some sort of leverage to present to agents etc.

I have allowed for news, about neil, review the book, feedback, musings, synopsis, and contact links and pages.

You can ask questions, and if I know the answer I will tell you, Please don't ask about our Government, truly, I haven't cried for two weeks now, yes, I am getting stronger.

The book (which will be a series type thing, but capable of being read as an individual book) is really about human nature and human interactions. Family conflict and resolution plays a part as does belief, and plots and sub plots are subtley woven through out the story. Karma plays a big part in the book, and it had to, as there would have been no book/s otherwise.

Please visit us across the ocean and leave a positive comment (I like them).

There is no admission fee, and refreshment for the mind is provided free.

Tijuana Noir "A Long short story" Tijuana Confidential: The crime investigation of a Catholic Church Cardinal murdered in Tijuana’s Airport parking lot in the middle of a narco-traffickers war triggers an intrigue that threats to expose the relationship between the government, the church and organized crime in this infamous city. This dark fiction happens in the collective imaginary that is Tijuana of the 90’s. A killer that tries desperately to erase his trace, a District Attorney with no one to trust, a hard-boiled private eye, the imperfect hero in the best tradition of the Detective Novella, and an archetypal Femme Fatale warming his bed at the end of the day fuel this thriller. Tijuana Noir is the first story of a trilogy called “Stories of Narcofiction." It has the furious plasticity of the Cinema Noir films, immersed in evil to the end with a gallery of “damned” marginal characters inspired by the police chronicles newspapers, pop culture and the US/Mexico border experience. About the Author Flores Campbell is the pen name of Eduardo Flores, he was born in San Diego, California, grew up in Tijuana and actually lives in Rosarito Beach. He has written poetry for poetry.com and commercial advertising in San Diego for radio and TV. He has a bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Unversidad del Valle de Atemejac, Guadalajara Jalisco México, he is a publicist and part time actor. Tijuana Noir is his first published novel. Preview If the devil had a woman’s name, she would surely be named Lia Buzelli, and that was the name of the woman who just happened to be waiting for Gaviño in his office. Among the smoke of menthol cigarettes, French perfume and leather clothing, Lia introduced herself as having been sent by the Mexican Secretary of Interior to request case information. The beauty didn’t intimidate Gaviño. He responded, “I’ve already heard of you.” To which the woman answered with a facial gesture, described only as a fake smile because a real one is something altogether different. He knew of her brief career as a television commentator, a model and then federal police officer. A Molotov mix he was forced to take, and her presence at an inconvenient time was never strange. Cutting right to the chase, the bittersweet voice said, “The federal government is worried about the bad publicity that this case will generate, as well as the way it can affect its relationship with the Vatican”. Gaviño looked at her face resisting the impulse to move his eyes up and down to enjoy the woman at least by a roving glance. “Miss. Buzelli, I understand the Secretary’s concern. Tomorrow before the press conference starts, it will be my pleasure to fill you in on the investigation’s progress.” “I don’t need to tell you that any information needs to be checked by me before it leaves this office.” Lia Buzelli emphasized to him, making him aware of her authority. “We don’t have any idea as to what really happened. I am still waiting for the autopsy results, as well as the witness statements.” “It doesn’t matter who or how many killed him. I want to know what the cardinal was doing at the airport. Early tomorrow I will give you the press bulletin that I want you to read to the media” The false colored eyes woman did not ask, she ordered him. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” answered the experienced police investigator, visually upset as he rested his hands on his PM steel desk. He wished that Lia along with the scent of menthol cigarettes and French perfume would go to hell, which is probably where she sprung. “Have a good night,” said the women sarcastically upon excusing herself in the manner that people with power (or those who sleep with them) usually do.
