Ten minutes away
Some times, life is so hectic, it limits our ability to step away from the material world, and enter into a state of universal awareness.
We need that time.
It is our moving into the Universal flow, that our soul requires for growth and balance.
When we can step away, and into into the Flow, we' re connected on a spiritual level, To the Universe.
We need that connection in our lives.
It gives us balance, security, and ability.
Once we are in the flow, we have a broader base for our awareness. We see more clearly, and have more information available to process for our needs.
I prefer more awareness, even if clarity brings pain, with it's truth.
With truth , comes understanding, and thru understanding, flows growth.
So , to step away for ten minutes, i know sounds too simplistic for the benefits.
It works though.
To literally step out of yourself, your flow, your stress. To center yourself, and to move to a higher plane, even for ten minutes, will work wonders for your spiritual self. Once you have touched that, your mental and physical self are affected in return.
This way we achieve balance between the three.
Living and working on this planet ,at this time, is harsh for most people.
We must deal with more and more stress, more and more aggravation, destruction or negativity thrown at us daily.
As we are bombarded daily, it is not easy to keep your head up toward, God, and feel the Universal flow, we were born from.
As we lift our eyes, our hearts follow.
But most people walk around with heads down, and shoulders hunched, fretting the next meeting, the next day, the next confrontation.
To cast one's eyes downward, grounds the soul in the material world. It focuses on the physical, not the mental world around us.
It leaves the spiritual level behind.
If we are looking at our toes, we miss seeing the stars.
It all reacts and interacts on a subconscious level to us. Most are not aware of this.
They are aware they feel dragged down, depressed, or empty.
These feelings arise from a lack of connections.
If we distance ourselves, we move away from our Divine connection. Our Divine spark receeds. Our emotions move forward, and our minds seek solutions to the pain.
N othing can remove our Divine spark, it was our U niversal gift, we all carry.
But we do tend to bury it deep!
We be come so bogged down in running the rat race, we ignore the need for balance and we ignore the Greater need for a divine connection.
We spend more money, buy more things, run more places, hide from our own truths, to try to fill our lives so fully, so we will feel full and fulfilled emotionally.
It doesn't work well.
To feel fulfilled does not come from just money, or fame or stuff.
It comes from within and without.
Fulfilled comes from contentment with ourselves and our sense of balance.
So few people achieve balance in their lives, they walk around empty and hurting.
And the sad part is, they do not understand what is causing the pain, or why they feel empty.
If we can devote ten minutes of our short time, to the Universe, we can step away from the hustle and center ourselves in the Flow.
I wanted to share how i do this, so maybe it can help others who work in a hectic or even frantic world.
If we can achieve creating Divine space in the middle of all that, we can achieve any thing else we desire in our lives.
Because we will have achieved balance.
And the balancing of body, mind and spirit, is required for growth and movement.
Some days , for me, are like working inside of a pressure cooker. All day long people run around, frantic, hustling, complaining, moaning, or resisting the flow.
As the day progressed, the pressure increases, from those who resist . The opposite energy to the flow, is a huge tug . It disrupts the natural flow and creates a cross current.
The tension will build in proportion to the amount of people involved, and the amount of negativity, constantly fed in to it!
So yes, people's constant bitching and muttering does effect the general situation and energy you work in.
I can do the stepping away now, easily.
It wasn't always so , lol! The tension and crap from other people affected me greatly. It was a constant static field of oppressive energy and weight, that would bear down on me.
I am very reactive to situations and people, with their attitudes.
I had to learn to actually move with the flow of any given situation.
To find the pulse of the surrounding energy flow and to not resist, but to move along with it, to get to where i needed to be.
I know this sounds a bit odd.
Let me give a brief example.
Every one has visited a hospital . either a s a patient or as a visitor.
Both can have a stressful time, due to the enviroment they walk into .
The atmosphere can be tense. People are moving hurriedly with purpose or aggitation.
All of these things transmit themselves to those people in the surrounding area.
While you wait calmly, there might be a ambulance that whips in, sirens blaring. This increases the surrounding mood with tension.
The ambulance techs may hurriedly wheel in a very sick or injured person.
This increases the surrounding tension and feelings to all in the area.
With each instance, more emotion or feelings are dumped into the surrounding area. Each person is affected. Then each person begins to add their own energy and feelings into the soup mix in the atmosphere.
Who ever walks into that emotional soup, will be immediately affected, and the cycle will continue, with a proportional increase, as each new energy is added.
But if the peopel in the affected area, would move softly, breathing normally, and reacting minimally, they can shift themselves to move with the frantic flow, and actually move thru it and beyond.
Like when we pass thru the hectic emergency room, into the corridor to the lobby.
Literally walking with the flow until you reach the "door", the barrier where the affected area ends, and another begins.
to literally step away, is a shielding and centering technique i use for a personal time out.
I have even told my co workers, "That's in, i need a time out".
This is a true statement.
I need to remove myself form the affected area, and shift monemtarily, to another state of awareness.
By doing this, i am able to change myself.
NOT any one else, or the area.
Only individuals can shift their awareness.
Only we are responsible for our reactions to actions.
Only we can control our own flow, our own actions , our own energy.
